Meet Mariela, born on February 13 in the Dominican Republic, at the age of two, her family came to live in New York City. Through her elementary school years she learned to dance Ballet and did several performances. Later, Mariela grew an interest in belly dancing. Her stunning moves are always accompanied by the beat of the music. It makes her intriguing to see.  Being that she is bilingual and talented, brought her about to participate in many activities.  She took part in New York City Beauty Pageant's and occasionally did small appearances in movies as an extra.

Mariela is currently attending college in New York majoring in Graphic Design and a minor in Communications.  She spends her weekends hosting and motivating special events, it makes Mariela feel very confident especially when she holds the MIC!  She enjoys public speaking and is not shy at all in getting an audience's attention. At the parties that she attends, she interacts with the Bride and Groom or the guest of honor and their guests to ensure that they all have a great time and that all goes as planned. One of the ways she reaches out to the public is by teaching them how to dance. Whether it's the Electric slide or the hip moving Merengue, she will get you going! At a party Mariela enjoys listening and dancing to all types of music.
